Perhaps a bit too fizzy? I was considering an Amptweaker Scour Tightmetal Pro. I am not sure about the Mesa Boogie Throttle Box. I'd love any advice on pedal choice for this kind of music. We haven't jammed yet-aiming to start next week. Now, this is the first time I am getting into playing this kind of music. I can switch to those, but I figured humbuckers have to be useful for this kind of music. Most of my guitars are single coil or P90 equipped though. Playing into a 1974 Orange OR80 2x12 using a Les Paul with a hot vintage unpotted humbucker in bridge and a P90 in neck. Eventide PitchFactor-will consider using this to add some extra heaviness here and there, but not sure yet.Probably another fuzz so I can swap between one with an octave and one without.Mesa Boogie Throttle Box (distortion).So, I have the following I am putting on my board: I've been playing punk and surf for a while, but embarking on a new project with some other people along the lines of 'atmospheric post-metal'.
